CAMBODIA - PASTOR RAINIER

13/07/04

Dearest Brethren of Singapore,

Greetings from Cambodia with LOVE!

Before anything else, let me thank you for the prayers that you do for us, it certainly helps us a lot and I do not know how to express it in words, but all I can say is " To God be the Glory!"

During my 3-day hospitalization in Thailand,  the bacteria (5 species) was cultured and I was getting treatment the second day and the third day, everything was dried-up! It is incredible what technology can do, which Cambodia doesn't have yet! Thank you again, because aside from the skin bacterial infection and my diabetes, everything else is perfectly normal, Praise be to God! This means that I could still continue to use this earthly body for His glory and praise!

A bit of update with the work here in this side of the Mission field. To date, we have 11 active Mission-Churches all over Cambodia, spread in 6 different provinces (Phnom Penh-5; Kompong Speu-1; Kampot -1; Kompong Chinang-1; Kratie-Snoul-3). We can do more than these but we have financial constraints. I am often times ashamed to tell our men that the support is not enough but we continue to trust in Him whom all blessings flow! Not only do we have these 11 local mission-churches going on but we simultaneously support Missionaries Jessie Tingson-East Africa; Errol Enverga to Hong Kong; Joel Basilan-RAN (Restricted Access Nation); Don Altura-India, and Kit Jamandron-Cambodia. We support them from $20-$10/month. And also, we have 2 Bible College students from Cambodia studying in Baptist Bible College in Makati City whom we also support (Bob Colon and Ngeoun Setha)! All of these by the grace of God! How are all these things possible, Luke 1:37. We are committed to World Evangelization!

Last Sunday, in all of our 11 local works, 9 professed salvation, 42 visitors, 7 baptismal candidates, 147 families/individuals visited but no tracts were distributed (we do not have any budget to purchase tracts which costs, 20 cents (US) per piece. Equivalent to 800 Cambodian Riels which could buy you a bowl of soup!

We trust God for our day by day needs and we thank you for being part of " The Harvest" here in Cambodia.

Please continue to uphold us in your prayers, as we continue to pray to our God to bless you more and more as you give more and more for His glory and praise alone!

Missionaries Rainier, Samuel and Sarah Rolda
