    Dear Pastor and Brethren of Shalom Baptist Church (Singapore),

    Greetings once again in Jesus most wonderful Name and Lord.

    First of all, we thank to our Lord for His faithfulness, goodness and care of our gospel ministry during the month of August-Oct 2006. We thank you for your prayer and participation for mission field of Indonesia. Trust that all is well with you all and have a good health and spirit.

    Secondly, we thank to our lord for 2 teenager, named Pangga and Astrit were baptized last Oct 15th at Pringgading mission. Both accepted the Lord Jesus together with other 4 people last July.

    Thirdly, we thank to our Lord for Surabaya preaching station, God sent 3 new comers to join us once a month for Bible study, also God sent an American missionary (formerly were in Hawai) who studying language to reach the unreachable people of other island.

    Fourthly, we thank to our Lord for our Church Building Project at pundung mission covered nearly 85%, we are praying now for the finishing step; plestering the wall, floor, ceiling and painting. We have use the building for our regular service already. Please continue pray with us for our present needs.

    Fifthly, we thank to our Lord for taking care of our family so far always in good health; Giyanti is teaching Sunday School at Pringgading in the morning and Pundung in the afternoon, Rubin and his wife Christina are doing fine in Jakarta, Lord willing in Dec/Jan they will have their first baby, they joined a local Independent Baptist Church where we started in 1973 there, Andreas is still working, beside serving young people and music at Pringgading mission, Yohana has finished her school, now is waiting for her graduation.

    By the grace of God our three children were aceepted the Lord Jesus and baptized when they were 8 and 9 years of age.

    May God continue bless you, Pastor and family as well as Brethren of SBC in Singapore.

    Dear Pastor and Brethren of Shalom Baptist Church, Singapore.

    Trust that all is well with you, have a good health and spirit.

    Thank you so much for your prayers and love on Missions.

    Because of your prayers, on June sorrowful month we are in God's hand and safe to do His work for His glory.

    The Bible says; there is "a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance" - Eccl.3:4.

    After the Tsunami, our country Indonesia continued with some major calamities such as:

    - Earthquake in Jogyakarta, C.Java resulted in the deaths of 5.621, injured 46.000, more than 139.000 houses totaly damaged, the condition now there are  600 people paralysis and 16.000 people in physical defects.

    - The Merapi volcano erupted, at least two people dead of the height inside the bungker, and still outpouring of hot lava now.

    - Hot out pouring mud from the ground in Surabaya, East Java, resulted hundreds of houses and field are drawned now.

    - We have dry season in java but there are heavy rain and flood in south and north Sulawesi, also in west Kalimantan resulted 218 people dead.

    From our groups(Independent Baptist Churches) there are 7 houses damaged including the one which use for regular service in Klaten, Pastor Ngadimin. 

    Also in Gantiwarno where our parent's church members damage very badly both his church's building and homes.

    In the Bible, we find several ways in which people express their mourning. Certainly fasting and praying for a family, Church, Community or nation is most desired in times of tragedy.

    Please pray with us for them who suffered of calamities. 

    We thank the Lord that our Churches and Missions are taking a

    special love offering for their present needs.  

    May God continue bless you all abundantly.
